Beck<\/I>, 487 U.S. 735 (1988)<\/A>. Pursuant to <A HREF=\"http:\/\/caselaw.findlaw.com\/cgi-bin\/getcase.pl?court=US&#038;vol=475&#038;invol=292\"><I>Teachers<br \/>\nLocal 1 v. Hudson<\/I>, 475 U.S. 292 (1986)<\/A>, and <A HREF=\"http:\/\/caselaw.lp.findlaw.com\/scripts\/getcase.pl?court=dc&#038;navby=case&#038;no=937171A\"><I>Abrams<br \/>\nv. Communications Workers<\/I>, 59 F.3d 1373 (D.C. Cir. 1995)<\/A>, I request<br \/>\nthat you provide me with my procedural rights, including: reduction of<br \/>\nmy fees to an amount that includes only lawfully chargeable costs; notice<br \/>\nof the calculation of that amount, verified by an independent certified<br \/>\npublic accountant; and notice of the procedure that you have adopted to<br \/>\nhold my fees in an interest-bearing escrow account and give me an opportunity<br \/>\nto challenge your calculation and have it reviewed by an impartial decisionmaker.<\/p>\n<p>[If you pay dues by payroll deduction, include this paragraph: Accordingly,<br \/>\nI also hereby notify you that I wish to authorize only the deduction of representation fees from my wages. If I am required<br \/>\nto sign a new deduction authorization form to make that change, please provide me<br \/>\nwith the necessary form.]<\/p>\n<p>Please reply promptly to my request.
