How about the public school systems? Education in America is a basket case. Loaded with teachers that are not compentent to teach and the school boards cannot get rid of them because of the unions. This is why private schools, charter schools, and home teaching have a much better track record on student knowlege outcomes. College graduates from the prestegeous colleges of today cannot pass a highschool examination of the 1940 and 1950 era.
