Speech by outgoing lawyer for the NEA
I feel the same way about this organization as a lot of the other people on this site. Our children are not getting the education that will enable them to be better and acheive more in their adult lives or even in college. Just like he said, this union isn't successful because they are great teachers, care about the children, etc. and I find this appalling in the fact that teachers are the most important people in the lives of children, next to parents..That's what makes unions so disgusting to most of us and now we won't get any relief from them since our President is 100% for and backed by unions. Never have I seen such a display of favortism in our national leader who supposedly would be impartial to any special interest groups..These people are worse than communists, they are the "real progressive leftists" that will teach our children every ideal or moral that parents don't want their children exposed to.
Hypocrisy of Publc School Education
I will tell you why the conservative people want to tear up the NEA. The union consists of neurotic and/or crooked "educators" who have done everything BUT teach children to open their minds up to facts, independent thinking and have taken morality out of the mix. I removed my kids from the travesty of public school education and they are all the better for it.

I listened carefully to the smug moron, as he called conservatives bastards and lamented being harassed by the Bush administration and conservative groups. I was also present in Cleveland , OH, Atlanta, GA., Nashville, TN, where teachers unions repeatedly resisted any accountability to our failed educational system, even though, teachers outside of their union were consistently demonstrating better performance from their students, at lower budgets and from similar neighborhoods.
His bragging included the efficiency of the Union . . . not their contribution to education.
AS a COO and employer of young adults in Ohio, I can't tell you how stunned I was to read their applications for employment, or their total lack of common knowledge related to business, interpersonal relationships, international concerns, etc.
Like all Fascist, totalitarian communist and the weak, cowardly liberals like Mr. Union Boss fail to look inward to realize they are the bastard children of regret and loss, laziness and lethargy, ignorance and lies and hope based on government sponsored pity . . shameful they we even tolerate such fetid waste of humanity.
Improve teaching standards, police your members, work trough to increasing educational quality at all levels in public schools and THEN criticize your opponents. And Lastly, make contributions voluntary . . you know, freedom to choose . . based on the FOUNDING of this country that so many conservative bastards have died protecting.
NEA Lawyer's Rant
If you have grown up in an environment of Unionism you think Unions are wonderful. If you have grown up trying to run businesses that have unions you see how corrupt they are.
When unions try to organize they are ruthless with lies, threats, intimidation. The unions only help themselves they are there for the dues to pay for the leaders salaries, benefits, trips and fairwell parties to hear retiring attorneys.
Our education system smells because of the unions, an example from New York City where 7,000 union teachers are under a discipline penalty where they do not work but go to a location where they get full pay, full benefits, summers off and tell each other how abused they are. They are being disciplined for poor work, sexual offenses, crimes, faking injuries, and many other problems for which they should be fired. But with unions it is difficult to fire anyone for any reason so they set up areas such as I am describing.
I have dealt with unions all my life and find that you must not give in to them, you must follow the contract to the letter, document everything a troublesome employee does and you can fire anyone. The weak Administrators are too lazy to do what I suggest so they, and auto workers, end up with a situation as in New York.
Our education system suffers because of the inability to fire recalcitrant employees.

The only success that the NEA can rightfully lay claim to is indeed political, not educational. The reason for that success is simple: Their leadership is a pack of power grabbing, sneaky, communist wannabe bastards. If I were to list the organizations that have done the most to undermine America, to fragment the common value system that made us great, the NEA would rank number 2, just behind the number one, the so called American Civil Liberties Union, whom I believe would be more appropriately called the American Communist Lawyers Union. Come to think of it, I wonder just how much those two bastard organizations are in bed together for the purpose of undermining all things right about America?

Well spoken, Bruce Forbes. The values that made this country great are under an assault the likes of which are unprecedented. As a former college admissions director, I can tell you that the quality of students who graduate are on the decline, and the organizations you mentioned are central contributors to this decline. Now that they have a radical in Obama and a crowd of liberals in congress, they are laying the groundwork for the greatest assault of all. It is terrifying when you project another generation of dismal student performance blessed by the government.
Union Boss
I know that the Bush Administration wasn't perfect, but there was only one person, that I know of, that was perfect and they nailed him to a cross. This guy is probably the one that was a bastard, that's why he's so screwed up now! People that are raised by a mother and father become better people and have a brain of their own and don't let dictators, like we have in the white house now, think and make decisions for them. It just goes to show you that having all the education in the world doesn't make you smart. I put my trust in people with common sense before people that have an education. There's gonna be a payday soon, then it will be to late! It's a terrible thing to fall into the hands of an angry God.
