Foundation Announces Special Task Force to Defend New Michigan Right to Work Law in Court

Unions already challenging law that would make union membership and dues payment voluntary

Springfield, VA (December 13, 2012) – The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation, a charitable organization that provides free legal assistance to employees nationwide, announced today the creation of a special task force to defend Michigan's newly-enacted Right to Work law.

"Although we anticipate several union court challenges, we're confident that our legal team will be able to defend Michiganders' Right to Work," said Ray LaJeunesse, Vice President and Legal Director of the National Right to Work Foundation.

Michigan "right to work" law

"...we're confident that our legal team will be able to defend Michiganders' Right to Work..."

What a crock. You people can lie to your wives and children, but it doesn't work anymore in the real world. Defend your tailor-made-for-the-confederacy Right to Live in an Impoverished State law all you want, but you will lose and your selfish corporate oligarchy flight of fancy will fail, fall, and be replaced along with your back-stabbing tool of a governor.

Endless and unnecessary court battles notwithstanding, a referendum to repeal your middle class-killing Right to Work Against Our Own Interests law will be placed on the ballot in 2014 and then pass by a wide margin. Then you and your greedy carpetbaggers can slither away back down south to Dixie to reflect on how you've succeeded in making the southern man's life just a little bit less fulfilling and free.

right to work

ok as a contractor for 30 years i have wonderd why the unions civil servent, mayors, ect, when spending thier own money they dont hire union carpinters, plumbers, landscapers, ect, ect, they go out and get the best deal for themselfs in the free and opened market, why dont they believe in the middle class when spend thier own money on 15 days paid holidays,4,5,6,7, weeks vacation pplan, ave, work pace ect,,,the tax payer sctaches your back but you dont walk across the street to scratch the next guys,,,,,ok,ok,ok, im stuck in the 1940's,,,keep on paying off the dems or the reps,,,,

Actually the Republicans

Actually the Republicans made the bill an appropriations bill so therefore it can not be voted on by the people. It can only be overturned by the state congress or the State Supreme Court.
