It has always puzzled me how union activists can justify criticizing someone for not joining them in a very costly effort to secure a contract that has provisions such as monopoly bargaining and compulsory fees. While these provisions benefit the union leaders, they diminish the choices of all employees and force non-members to fund an organization that they perceive as working against their interests. Only the most self-centered of narcissists could behave in such a manner.
